We tried to predict prices for six months. It didn't work.

From March to August 2026 our engine combined momentum, news sentiment, macro data, volume, market regime and the Fear & Greed index to forecast whether 54 assets would go up or down in 1, 7 and 30 days. Every forecast was stored and later checked against the real price. These are the numbers.

Brier score 0.265 (a coin flip scores 0.250; lower is better). Forecasts tagged "confidence ≥70%" were right 48.1% of the time. Ties (no price change) excluded.

So we stopped selling signals.

Short-term crypto direction behaved like a coin toss for our engine — and the apparent "edges" vanished when tested on new data. If anyone sells you trading signals, ask for numbers like these: every forecast, checked afterwards, compared with "always up". We'd rather earn your trust with execution, security and honest data.
